I’ve always seen stories about single moms online, but in real life, it’s different, and I want to know why. But that’s not the issue. I’m a mom of one and single. I don’t pay a dime on my son; his dad does all of it. Sometimes, my boyfriend wants to play a role. Now, the issue is the money his dad sends is more than enough, and I don’t want a situation in the future where my future husband will have an issue. I want people with experience to advise on how to balance the two.
My son’s father is already married, and he hasn’t seen him since we broke up; we only talk on the phone. I want to know if there should be a future issue that I should prepare for. I’ll also add that we haven’t seen each other in years, just money talks through chat, no pleasantries, but we’re very much cool.
