It’s disheartening when friends betray your trust. Recently, I introduced one of my close friends to my boyfriend, thinking it would strengthen our bond. However, after a minor disagreement between me and my boyfriend, my friend took it upon herself to give my boyfriend’s number to her sister without my knowledge. This resulted in her sister bombarding my boyfriend with messages, calls, and even pictures, all without my consent. It’s a painful reminder of the importance of being cautious about who we trust. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, and it’s taught me to be wary of frenemies who pretend to have our best interests at heart.
