A few years back, I met a guy who has been super good to me. I was raised by a single mom, and after I met him, he’s been sponsoring all my financial issues. I’ve loved and remained faithful to him, despite the challenges I’ve faced with my ex. However, he started cheating and even hit me once, then apologized. By that point, I was already done. We live in different states and only see each other occasionally. I haven’t ended the relationship because of the money, but I refuse to meet him. He doesn’t know because he thinks I forgave him. Now, my mom is telling me that her pastor said I shouldn’t take money from someone I won’t marry; it’s against my destiny. But how will my destiny survive without money? I have a business, but I need money to set it up.
