So, me and my girl have been dating since last May. Everything was cool and all, but recently, last month, she started giving cold replies and cold shoulders. If I talk to her about it, she’ll likely change the topic, get mad, or just cut me off. I said I should maintain my cool because a relationship can’t be lovey-dovey every time. So, yesterday, I was setting up something on her phone and saw a text from a random guy that was telling her he doesn’t want to see her with another guy and how heartbroken he’ll feel. I showed her the text, and she said it’s just a random guy. I said a random guy wouldn’t call her babe.
I asked if they had anything. She said no, that he’s just an obsessed ex. I told her she shouldn’t be friends with an ex. She said they’re cool. She got angry. I went through the contents of the message, then I apologized, and she promised they didn’t have anything, only for me to do my digging to find out they’ve been dating for almost a month. This girl made me feel she was different from other girls because she was loyal. I don’t really know what came over her, but I’m planning on breaking up with her this Friday.
