So, I’ve been single for the longest time, but I recently got into a relationship with a virtual employer, whom I work for. He is dark and so handsome—picture perfect, really. He is also kind, thoughtful, and very intentional. Now, what appears to be the problem is his grammar. The funny thing about this entire situation is that, prior to this time, he sounded okay when we conversed. However, over the last months, it’s like I have become more aware of the grammatical errors he makes, and it’s very unsettling.
It’s both in written and spoken English. I used to point out these errors mid-conversation, but I stopped because I realized that if I continually point out his errors, it will severely impact our communication. To make matters worse, he’s shy and introverted, and he doesn’t get me, my humor, core interests, and so on. I really just want to rant. I’ll probably call it off; I don’t want to waste his time.
