I met my boyfriend in January when I went to work, and he made me stop the stripping job. We made out that night. He gives me a weekly allowance (which he stopped after three months), but he has this attitude of talking to me anyhow and shouting. I always visit him on weekends. We always had raw sex. I was six weeks gone in April and told him about it. He told me to keep it, even if I wanted to remove it (that’s my first pregnancy ever).
I didn’t see the seriousness in him, like him being interested in seeing my parents or talking about our future, so I just had to remove it. I cried when I did because I wanted to keep it out of love. Fast forward to May, after my birthday; he didn’t gift me anything. Even whenever I post pictures of my family members, he doesn’t wish them. I felt stup!d. Then he started asking me to get gold for him worth over N500k. It’s not like I can’t get it, because I have over N3.5m in my savings, but I feel it’s kind of weird.
Then one Saturday, I went to his place, and the next morning, he was hurrying me to go. It was so embarrassing because normally I go on Sunday (due to my 9-5 job the following week), but not in the morning. Because of that, I deliberately didn’t go to his place for over a month. I noticed any time I called at night, he was busy and made excuses when he called. Lately, we have been having issues because of this call situation. He posted about looking for a FWB and had the guts to let me see it.
Because of that, I went clubbing with a group of guys and made sure he saw it. Also, on Father’s Day, he posted a screenshot of someone wishing him “Happy Father’s Day, my irreplaceable,” after telling me he doesn’t have a child. Even if I still love him, I just feel I should let him go because of the way we met. What do you guys think? I’m talking to the guys here—if you met someone like me, can you wife me? I’m 23 and I need a serious relationship, but in my next relationship, I don’t wish to let my partner know about my past.
