I have been dating my boyfriend for 2 months and he’s the best thing that has happened to me. He plans thoughtful dates, spoils me, encourages and makes me feel loved in a way no one else has. This man doesn’t let me touch any door, he literally worships me, talks about our future together and shows me off to everyone. He doesn’t let me tell him I don’t like something twice; he adjusts immediately. Recently, I went through his chat and read his chat with a girl he was involved with last year, let’s call her Dunni.
From their chat I read, I drew out that they were in a kind of situationship although it seemed one sided because she was always calling and texting and he barely responded. My man deflowered her too and after that he completely ghosted. He was extremely cruel to her, he called her all kinds of names, abused her and as a girl’s girl, it hurts to see another girl go through something like that. I snapped her contact on my phone and met up with her. I introduced myself and explained that I went through their chat. Dunni broke down and wept very bitterly about what my man did to her.
She admitted been suicidal. She kept saying so many things that I can’t even type out. The only difference was that he never spoiled her the way her spoils me, he’s the one that loves me more in this case and he didn’t make their relationship official. I got back only to realize that she had blocked me and I was wondering why, I confronted her on my other line and she begged me to leave him alone since he has introduced me as his official babe. I think it hurts her to see me get what she begged for but honestly it wasn’t my intention.
This has really affected my relationship as I consider it a red flag to treat someone else like that and act all sweet with me. What if he changes and treats me like that. Plus he lied that he has been celibate for 4 years but he deflowered her last year. I’m confused, should I tell him I went through his phone and met up with Dunni or I should just find another excuse to break up?
