So it happens that my dad’s mom doesn’t like my mom. My dad usually beats my mom and maltreats her so much 😭 but not in our presence (my sister and I). We are just two that my mom gave birth to, but my mom usually tells me everything because I’m the first child and her best friend. My dad is the kind of person who is caring to me and my sister. My sister loves him so much because he has never said no to her in terms of money. It’s always my mom and my dad at home. My sister and I are still schooling, so we do not see everything that happens at home. Recently, my mom called to say she already rented an apartment and left my dad. I forgot to tell you guys that my mom is richer than my dad, and she had to build a house secretly without telling her husband because they don’t talk to each other—they are always fighting.
When my dad knew about the house, they fought, and we followed our mom, but they settled the issue for them, so we later came back to my dad. The reason my mom packed recently is that my dad beat her up from bed naked to outside, and our neighbor saw my mom 😭. This is not the first time, though. I hate my dad already. He does not know that my mom told me everything. I want you guys to advise me. I do not want my parents to divorce. Is it something I can settle? What do you guys think I can tell my dad to stop beating or maltreating my mom? Or should I just leave my mom to stay alone? I’m in school right now and will go home soon. Where should I go, my mom’s or dad’s place?
