My boyfriend gives his boxers to a laundry woman to wash. He doesn’t do his laundry at all. When I say “at all,” I mean since he was a baby. He’s the last born and only son, so his mum spoils him. But as a 26-year-old adult, I find it weird that anyone washes his underwear, let alone a woman. I equate it to a laundry man washing my panties or bra, although the gender is not even the issue here. Please don’t get me wrong. He has been a close-to-perfect boyfriend since we started, and I thank God for him each day. But this issue of boxers washing is really eating at me. He asked me if I could do it if I wanted him to stop giving them to a laundry person, and I honestly told him, that even if and when we get married, I’m not going to be washing his boxers. Am I wrong to have said that? Is it okay for him to keep giving this laundry woman his boxers? Am I overreacting? Please, I really need answers because this issue is really causing a rift between us.
