Someone made a rant about how guys make money and go for another girl yesterday, and I feel like he’s ranting on my behalf because I don’t think I want to have money and then have to worry about the woman I’m going home to because a peaceful night without feeling irritated is not guaranteed. So, this girl has been disrespecting me for the past 8 months now. Anytime I try to have a conversation with her, she’ll turn it into a heated argument. Like, are we kids? Why are you with me if you feel like you’re too good to be with someone like me? Is it normal for a lady to disrespect her partner from time to time in the name of being a cool guy, even though she knows how bad I feel whenever the situation comes up? But at least I have to be soft for my partner. This girl, it gets to a point whereby she went out after I went out with a brother because he needed me to give him a lift.
On getting there, I got a text from her about dropping keys or not. I was like, really? How about, “Babe, I’m going to so and so”? I was like, did she do that on purpose so I can overreact and use it against me? I let it slide, even though I feel less of myself, and making up my mind about leaving her is not really easy because she acts opposite around my family and friends, plus only a few people will believe the way she treats me because they believe we’re having a peaceful relationship. It will be 5 years this year, so I want to ask if I should tell her to leave for some time and see if things change or break up patapata. Either way, I’m ready. I just don’t want to take a gun to a knife fight. My peace matters.
