I started dating my girlfriend 3 years ago, and it has been good. We argue sometimes, which is normal in a relationship, but the problem is that her mom won’t stop billing me. If she takes a loan, she will bill me to help her pay out the loan, or if her shop rent is expired. Sometimes I send her money, and I give my girlfriend’s brother too, but her mom doesn’t know when to stop. My dad died last year in December, and my girl’s mom lost her phone a week before I lost my Dad… 2 weeks later, she called me and that I didn’t talk about the phone she lost or bother getting her a new phone, I was annoyed and I kept my cool. I reported her to my girlfriend, and she reported to her dad, but I broke up with her after a few weeks we came back together, and her mom said she was just joking about the phone, so I begged her that I was sorry.
During Eid, she called me that I should buy cow for her or half cow because it was Muslim Anniversary or something, I didn’t say anything, and I told my girlfriend. I then broke up with her because I haven’t even married her, and her mom is demanding for half cow. She reported to her dad as usual, but since then, my girlfriend has been acting cold, saying why would I break up with her, and that she had been noticing that I wanted to leave her, but because her mom asked me for half cow it triggered me to break up fast. Isn’t that a valid reason to break up? Her mom asks me what she can’t ask her dad every time.
