I met a guy on Instagram around January. He claimed to have texted me, but I ignored his message, so he deleted it. Earlier this year, he mistakenly sent a message to me, and I was confused because I didn’t have him on my list. I told him to send his pics. I found out he was a cute guy and looked okay, so we started texting and all. So, me and this guy normally text each other as if we are in a relationship. Meanwhile, this guy never asked me to be his girl. After a while, our conversation stopped for no reason. After a month, I went to text him and continued talking like nothing happened. I went over to his place, and we had sex on our first date. I felt cheap, but his mode of conversation never changed. So, I decided to ask him what we were, and he told me we were in a relationship.
He told me what would have made me come over to his place if we were not in a relationship. And remember, he never asked me to be his girlfriend. He just concluded we were in a good and healthy relationship. He told me about his past relationship, how he and his girl had issues and they stopped texting, and he found she was going to parties and clubs with different people. But I don’t really care because I’m single and ready to be loved. But I’m confused because I don’t know if this guy is being honest with me, or I’m just being loyal to him for nothing’s sake, or when he is done with me, he will throw me away. Mind you, this guy replies to texts very late, but I understand he’s always busy. Was it his ego that stopped him from asking me to be his girlfriend, and he just gave it a title just like that?
