I don’t know if I’m the only one who feels this way; my guard is always up no matter what, especially when I meet someone new, like a guy. I will always feel like this person is trying to get close to me because of something. I always feel like the person wants something, and when the person finally asks me because I am into crypto and I freelance too, and that I should teach him crypto or anything, then I will just be like yes, that is what he wants. I don’t know how to stop it. The reason why is that one guy was dating me, I was not dating him o. He is staying in my street and he did not even ask me out or anything, and he just assumed that we were dating. I did not say anything so he would not feel bad. Then one week later, the guy was like I should teach him trading. I frowned and said why? He said is he not my boyfriend? That entitled voice. I was like ah wahala o. I said okay maybe later I lied to him that I have a lot of work to do in my freelancing.
Then after a week, this guy was complaining about how he did not have a place of his own. He is scouting with his friends and this guy is using iPhone 14 o. He said his client was the one who sent it to him that he used $700 to import it to Nigeria. I was like in my mind o, you have $700 to clear the phone but you can not use $700 to rent a house? Where you wan dey sleep? Inside Apple Store? lol, I did not say anything sha. So he was nah like I should give him N200k for him to complete his house rent. I was like ah? I don turn maga or what? ‘Cause I no understand. I just cut him off and started giving him attitude. Even though he knew that I was giving him attitude he tried to disturb me whenever he saw me in my street, I just avoided him when he tried to disturb me again; he was like we should start dating again. It was one of my street aunty that warned him and insulted him that day. Since that day ehn, he never disturbed me again.
