I met this guy on Snapchat; he sent a DM, and we got talking once in a while. He wasn’t based in Nigeria, and 2 weeks into talking, he mentioned he was coming to Nigeria to chill for a while and meet his family because it had been a long time. To cut the long story short, he got here, and a week later, he asked us to meet at the beach, and I agreed (he came with his friend). After the date, we continued talking, and days after, he asked me out, saying he liked me and wanted me to be his girl. I told him I liked him too, but he has to at least ask me out properly. A week, 2 weeks passed, and he didn’t say anything about going on a date to ask me out properly, but he kept on saying he liked me, and finally, I agreed. I’ve visited this guy over 5/6 times, and cooked for him one time with my money and foodstuff. Never has he offered to send me money or reimburse the transportation I’ve been using to come see him for once!! At some point, he started asking me for money. He asked for 10k one time, saying the police stopped him and his friends, and he couldn’t access his account, so I helped him send 10k to his Opay.
Another time, he said his sister’s account where he kept his money got blocked or restricted, and she couldn’t access it, and he said I should give him some money because he needed to get food. That was where I lost it. I told him I didn’t have any money, and a week before then, my account was restricted, I was with him at the time, and I was ranting to him about how my account was locked and all of that. When I was leaving his place, he didn’t deem it fit to even give me money. I had to call my friend to pay for my transportation. Since we started this thing, never has he taken me out on a date or gifted me or something, and never has he offered to do anything for me or give me money, but he can ask for money?? And I’m the type that never asks a man for anything because I feel he should know the right thing to do. I don’t even know what to do. I want to confront him and ask him questions or just ghost him or ask him for money to see what he’ll say. I’m just confused. I’m so down because I thought I finally found the man for me. What do I do?
