So, I met this girl sometime last year. She was in an abusive relationship when we met, but with that, our friendship was okay with a lot of mixed feelings and emotions attached. So, fast forward to 4 months ago, we started dating after she broke up with her ex. Everything has been fine; we’ve gone on vacation and traveled together. I mean, we are really in love. Now that we’re both happy, her ex keeps showing up. They have been in close contact with each other because they have mutual friends. This girl is someone I love so much; I can do anything for her. But since her ex is back in the picture, I don’t know what to do other than to let her go. I love her, but I don’t understand why her ex, I mean, someone that beats you every time. But just like Seyi Vibe said in one of his songs: “Ori to ba ma jeko, toba wo inu helicopter, oma jeko.”
