My cousin had a semester break in school and had to come stay over at our place till their semester break was over. While trying to collect movies on my little brother’s phone, he saw videos of himself taking his bath in the bathroom. He had to inform my mom about it. My dad is not based here; he is an officer. My mom went through my brother’s phone and found a lot of gay p•rn on his mobile. She was shocked and had to call me and my elder brother home yesterday evening to inform us about it. The poor woman could just not cry. He is barely 16 and about to write his UTME in April. She is scared of sending him away to another state for University and doesn’t know how she is going to inform my dad about it. I also don’t know what to do at the moment as his elder sister. I literally brought him up. Asking my immediate younger brother about it, he was just telling me that he noticed that he has been exhibiting gay behaviors.
He even gave an instance about whenever any of their friends are over, my little brother is always eager to go into the bathroom, and he felt it was part of adolescent boys’ attribute about being eager to know how these things work. Honestly, I don’t understand because he is always talking about pretty girls near me and the girls he has a crush on at school. I don’t know what went wrong and how, and also no he wasn’t sent to a boarding school. I plan to collect his seized mobile from my mom tonight and go through his Facebook and WhatsApp messages to see if anyone or a friend is prompting him into this. This is the right and best time to correct him because it is going to affect his future, honestly. Is it the stigma and all he will face from people and all other things as well? Please, any advice would be appreciated. Please and please, no insults, I’m just a concerned sister watching out for my brother.
