I was scrolling on TikTok yesterday, and I saw a particular babe. She made a video of her just getting a 3-bedroom apartment, and she captioned it, “POV: you got a 3-bedroom apartment alone at 22.” Am I happy for her? Yes!!! But I couldn’t wrap it up in my head that why would a “single” girl rent a 3-bedroom apartment??? I hear of a mini flat and 2-bedroom for some people who like visitors in their houses and they still want privacy. But, 3-bedroom??? In my opinion, I just saw that as an irresponsible decision honestly. And in the comments, I saw young girls saying, “God when? I can’t wait to get mine,” and so on. And I keep wondering what kind of pressure these young girls put on themselves. I know some people might see this as me being “jealous,” but I know there are still people who reason like me. And this isn’t about “poverty mindset.” I’m just stating what it feels like to me. I’m a girl’s girl!!! I love to see women win but some decisions are not just it at all.
