I have a boyfriend who I’ve been dating for about a year now. I’ve met all of his family members. My sister got married last week, and I invited my boyfriend to the wedding with the hopes of introducing him to my family members during the event. I sent him an invitation to the wedding about a month before the event, and he promised to attend. I traveled about a week before the wedding to my hometown, which he was aware of. During my stay in my hometown, we didn’t talk as much due to the activities. So, on the morning of the wedding, I called him to find out if he was on his way already, and he replied, “On my way to where?” I was shocked. Then he said if he wasn’t attending, “if you really wanted me there, you’ll need to give daily reminders.” The whole thing made me realize I might be dating myself. Rantandtalkz Family, do you think I’m wrong for not giving him daily reminders before the wedding? I didn’t see the need to because I had already given him the invitation, and he was aware of the activities, and he also promised to attend. Please advise.
