I’m in a relationship with a guy, and we stay together. He is a nice person, and we are very much in love. We are planning on getting married soon, but I have been having second thoughts about it due to some reasons, one being his cousin has been staying with us for more than 6 months and has been the biggest freeloader I have ever seen. We are in our twenties, and the cousin is in his thirties. He has a woman who has two kids for him and is probably his wife, but he downplays this. He doesn’t cook, clean, nor contribute money to the house. Even to the data and light, my boyfriend is funding all of this. All he does is bring different ladies to our house.
It irritates me because he doesn’t even have money to contribute for the feeding. Throughout the time he has stayed with us, not one single penny has come from his hand, but he has enough to bring different girls almost every day. If we leave the house with only him, it would be a mess when we come back. I am starting to see my boyfriend differently because of this. First off, if he can stay with us this long, I’ll probably have to deal with his family in our house constantly, and this is bothering me because I like my privacy. Is this enough to have second thoughts? I am thinking of even postponing the marriage plans until I can sort my reservations out.
