I have been dating this guy for 10 months now and I’ve always been moving from Lagos to Ogun state to visit him (a serious relationship though). So late last year, I asked this guy why he didn’t come visit me in Lagos, and he was like, “God forbid, only a lady goes to a guy’s house.” He always said it’s because he has no car, but I was like, even if you don’t have a car, does that mean you can’t come and see your girlfriend? And he answered yes. I even told him about my ex-boyfriend who was using a Benz car back then, he took a cab at the garage to come see me because of the bad road. I’m just confused. Even when I was sick, he only sent money. He said I can only come to him and not him taking a cab at the park to come see me.
