I’m 27 years old, and I’m doing well for myself. The thing is, my mum has been on my neck for so long about getting married, and I’ve always turned it into an argument until she stopped talking about it. I met this Muslim guy last year, and the relationship has been going well since we met, but he told me I’ll have to stop going to church if we get married. He said even if I don’t want to convert, I won’t be allowed to go to church or do anything related to it. It’s been bothering me because I think I’m already in love with this guy. I know half of the CAC hymn book by heart, and I can’t imagine not going for praise night and all of that too. Are men really worth doing things like that for? And if there’s anyone who has been in this situation, please advise.
