I met my boyfriend in 2016, around May, and we are still together in 2024. I stay with him. He was staying in a one-room apartment with his friends back then; I used to come and visit and then leave. But now he stays in a two-bedroom apartment, and I stay with him. The guy is not romantic. 😫 I got him a Valentine’s gift, but he didn’t get me anything. I never complained. I cook, wash his clothes, do the dishes, clean, and all of that. The way he talks to me in the presence of his friends sometimes baffles me a lot. No respect. He insults me so much when he’s angry. 😫 He calls me names. I will still be the one to beg him after all the insults.
He doesn’t apologize when he’s wrong. I will be the one to apologize. Now I’m 29 years old. Anytime I talk about marriage, he keeps saying anytime he’s ready he would give birth, and he calls this a joke. I’m tired. I don’t know what to do. It’s like I’m wasting my time around him. He chats with girls on Instagram and Snapchat. I almost left him when I caught him with one he was inviting over. Then he said he was just joking with the girl. 😠Please, what should I do?
