I have known this guy since, and he has been asking me out since January. In short, I agreed to date him about three weeks ago. Out of the little I had, I would buy him things like perfume, a wristwatch, and sometimes food, but this guy doesn’t reciprocate back. Instead, he will ask me to come over, we will have sex, and he will only transfer the transport fare to me. So after he did that twice, I vowed not to go to his place again. So on Val, I had used my money to buy a Valentine’s gift for him. It was worth about 8,500 Naira, so I had 1,500 Naira left with me, like in heaven and earth. He asked me to come over to his place, and before I left, I told him I got a gift for him, and he said he got gifts for me too.
I was so happy, and I went to his place and spent 1,000 Naira for transport to his house. We were kissing, and he made a move to remove my clothes, so I stopped him and said no, we are not having sex today. He thought I was joking at first, but when he realized I wasn’t, he pushed me and sent me out! For the first time in my life, someone slapped me. Ha! I even wanted to collect the gift that I bought for him, but he didn’t let me take it. I had only 500 Naira with me; I trekked half the distance for about 45 minutes, and I used the remaining 500 Naira to get home. I swear, till today he hasn’t called me, and I have just been heartbroken.
