I have been dating my boyfriend for close to 3 years. It’s my first relationship, and I gave him a really tough time before accepting to date him, mostly because of my trust issues. Our relationship has been sailing smoothly so far until my recent discovery. We both know each other’s passwords, and it’s not like I hide anything from him. So I went through my boyfriend’s phone last week and was hit with the shock of my life. I found a chat with a girl asking him to repost her business (she deals in men’s clothing) and refer her to his friends. I was like ‘hmmm’. I wanted to exit the chat, but something told me to read more of it, just to know the nature of their relationship. Nothing could have prepared me for what I saw.
So, I found out that my boyfriend slept with this girl, I don’t know for how long. The girl sent a picture of a pt strip that was positive. My bf even got the medications for the abortion for her. Omo! My head exploded. Ever since I found out, I’ve been acting cold to him because I just can’t pretend like nothing happened. According to the date, it was just before his birthday in November last year. And I remember him being all grumpy around that period, so this was the reason why. He has me asked if anything is wrong, due to the silent treatment. I don’t know how to confront him on the matter. I guess I’m still in shock that my perfect boyfriend was able to hurt me this way. Men! 😂
