I have been dating my girlfriend for more than 8 months now. Our houses are not far from each other. I’m the kind of man who doesn’t like to cook and doesn’t like to buy food outside, so I have some female friends that I can call anytime I want to cook to help me out with meals. However, my brother told me not to call those girls again because they all live in the same compound as the girl I’m dating. He suggested that I should call my girlfriend to come and help me cook anytime I need someone to help me cook. The problem is that my girlfriend has helped me cook more than 3 times now, but she never eats the food. This makes me wonder if it’s normal for a lady to help her boyfriend cook and then not eat the food. Additionally, whenever we chat and I say “I love you,” she never responds, and she never asks me for financial help or says “I love you” to me. I just need your advice on the next step to take so that this relationship will work out.
