I have been dating my boyfriend for 7 years now, and I haven’t experienced a peaceful, cheat-free year in the relationship. It’s always from one instance of cheating to another. Every time I caught him, he would beg, kneel, and beg. He dated someone else for 3 years; I broke up with him. He came to my house, begged my mum, and everything. I took him back, but he continued cheating. He finally broke up with her after 3 years. I can count 6 ladies he has cheated on me with. Now, I caught him last year in November after he swore to me that he wouldn’t cheat again.
This time he claimed the girl asked him out, and he saw it as an opportunity for a one-time thing. I told him to delete her number, but since November, he is still chatting with the same girl. Today, I saw he is still talking to her. I told him I was done, packed my stuff, and wanted to go home. He begged me not to leave, saying that if I left him, he would die. Now I’m confused. I don’t want to waste 7 years of my life, but at the same time, I don’t want to continue being broken every time I catch him cheating.
