I don’t know exactly what I’m feeling right now, but here I am at 10:12 pm, writing my story. I traveled out in 2020, met a guy, and we started dating. He introduced me to a business, I started it, and things went so well for me, so I decided to bring a girl from Nigeria to work for me. Someone introduced a girl to me; she was from Cross River State. I proceeded with her documents, and she flew in. I liked her because she was so hardworking. I even increased our agreed amount by 1.5 million. Bit by bit, I became friends with her because she was nearly the same age as me. Little did I know that she and my so-called boyfriend were having an affair. I suspected for a while, confronted them, and they both denied it, but you know a woman’s instinct can never be inaccurate. I waited to be sure of it, and I finally was, and I swore I must have my revenge.
I didn’t want to end the relationship with my boyfriend because he was a means to my end, so I turned a blind eye. They made it obvious, but I refused to let go of him. Money was more important than any man to me, so I ate my pride and still stayed. We lived in the same house for 3 good years. I didn’t try to separate them or anything; I was just interested in accumulating money. When I was ready to come back home, I was ready for payback, so I reported him to the police for fraudulent activity, and he was arrested. He spent 6 months (Christmas, New Year, and his birthday in prison). Meanwhile, I kept calling him to console him. I pretended to hire a lawyer and charged him N6.5 million. Meanwhile, I came back to Nigeria with the girl. On arriving in Nigeria, I knew I was done with him. Now I have a house, car, business, and I’m just 21.
Today I received a message from her that they want to get married: “The thing be say when boss come back, hin been dey follow me reason about marriage, you be gal you know say love na st#pid thing, you no go know how but you go see yourself dey do am. So when him come out, him say him wan marry me and I come reason am say, you don move on according to you, you don meet better guy wey love you d!e and you love him too.” That was her exact words. I don’t know if I’m happy or sad, but I know I’ve had my revenge, but I want more. I need revenge ideas, please.
