I just want to be on my own. Omoo, love is nobody’s mate. Heartbreak is painful asf! They say once bitten, twice shy, but my case is different. I got bitten twice, and it still hurts like before. At this point, I don’t think I can fall in love again. So, after my first heartbreak, I vowed to take my time to love again. But last year, I met a guy. Not too long after, he started acting up. He confessed that he just wanted to talk to someone and all, we didn’t do anything.
He said he thought about it and doesn’t think he can be committed, even though I’m a good person. He doesn’t want to hurt me. Omooo, it pained me eh, because I’m always flaunting to my friends and boldly saying, “I have a man.” Men will leave you in the desert without water, but love is a beautiful thing, sha. I still believe in love. I love clingy, I love love, but I can’t keep hurting myself. I want to love again too.
