I want to ask if you guys block your ex after a breakup. My ex and I stopped talking exactly a year ago. It wasn’t an official breakup, he just stopped talking to me because I had an issue with his sister, and his mom ordered him to stop whatever he has with me, since I had the right to insult his junior sister when she insulted me. And of course, he broke up (he’s a mommy’s boy and the breadwinner of the family). He never blocked me, still follows me on Instagram, still streaks me on Snap. At a point in time, he was always replying to my status, but he stopped about 4 months ago.
I have never texted him, and he hasn’t texted me either. But now the issue is my friends are saying that I’m not supposed to be keeping an ex’s contact, that I should have blocked him everywhere. I have moved on, and obviously, to me, he has also moved on. But I still feel some kind of way seeing his story, especially on WhatsApp, and it’s because my read receipt is on. I don’t open other socials because I don’t want him to see my name under his views. Note: I’m not in a new relationship yet. Should I block him or just leave him?
