Good day. This is my first time sharing my story, and I’m looking forward to solutions or opportunities to help me. I recently moved to Abuja in hopes of getting a job or other opportunities and advancing my career, but it has been the toughest time in my life. A relative who was supposed to house me just randomly said he couldn’t anymore. I was forced to go and stay with a friend whose house isn’t even in Abuja anymore. There’s no light, no water, and very little space that we’re managing in the guest house where she stays. The internship job I managed to find isn’t even paying, and I’m footing my transportation costs myself, which is a lot. I don’t know if I should just go back to my parents’ house or continue managing. I’m just hoping I get help from anyone. I’m just a girl trying to survive and make a living.
