I’m a 24-year-old guy, and I haven’t had much luck in relationships, but I’ve never stopped being loving or expressing my “lover boy” energy. I met someone earlier this year. We started talking, and within a month we began dating. She’s older than me, but that never bothered me, I actually prefer dating older women. Everything was going perfectly for the first seven months, then her energy started to change. She stopped sending sweet messages, and she would only talk to me if I texted her first. If I didn’t text her for two days, she wouldn’t reach out or even check on me. One time I got very sick and couldn’t contact her because of my condition. She never called or texted to ask how I was doing.
After I recovered, I went to visit her, only to find out she had already started dating someone else a month earlier, and the guy is older than me. Is she after age or what? This hurt me deeply because I really loved her. It’s not that I’m a guy who isn’t doing well, I have my own business, a house, and a car. I don’t understand what went wrong. She even used to tell me that I was the only man who satisfied her in bed. Now I’m confused. I don’t know whether to cut off the relationship completely or try to continue. I still care, but I feel lost. There’s nothing wrong with being a lover boy, but I don’t know what to do anymore.
