There’s this guy I really like. He’s doing his master’s in the UK, but he was my course mate in Nigeria and my very good friend. We’ve been talking, and I definitely have a crush on him, but I’m not sure how to move forward. Sometimes I wonder if I should tell him how I feel or just keep things as they are, though he has hinted at liking me, but it’s always mixed signals. I don’t want to risk ruining the vibe between us, but at the same time, I don’t want to miss out on something that could be great. Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you handle it? What’s the best way to handle this without coming on too strong? Also, before you guys say I like him because he’s not in the country, trust me, I have plans of my own and I’m working towards it. We just share the same values and all.
