So I saw a post about “Is it okay to date a girl who has been into hookup,” never believed I would be asking this but here is mine. I need good advice in this situation. I have not been constant in relationships, partly my fault because I guess I can never get 80% of what I seek in a lady. So there’s a lady I once met when I was sick, she took care of me because she is a nurse, paid my bills though and then we started talking and to cut the story short we started dating. Along the line, colleagues at work told me she was into hookups but stopped and yeah I didn’t bother to find out.
But I sat her down and told her things I have been hearing and asked that she tells me the truth because I also have some ugly past but it is not in my shoes to judge. She denied all allegations. Then recently I got another person that’s a friend to her and her sister and the lady was like “What do you see in her?” And I became suspicious and probed the friend and she in her chats made mention of what my guys already told me.
Now my question is what do I do? I don’t think I can ignore the little information anymore and will it be okay to find out more as I don’t want to think she would have stopped. Isn’t it better she comes out and explains? Don’t I deserve that, to at least know the truth? I know you might think I can’t handle the truth but what I can’t handle is being treated like a fool.
