I have been dating this guy since 2020. He engaged me in December 2023. As at that time, things were extremely difficult for me as I had used up all my savings to invest in a business that was supposed to change my life, but it went down the drain. I tried to be happy; I put a smile all through the engagement, but I couldn’t help it. I broke down around March 2024 and was almost going crazy, and was like that till December. His problem has always been that I don’t like calling his family, which I swear I tried; I was improving. But I am just a child who grew up alone and like being alone, which I told him from the start, and he agreed. My problem with him has been his nonchalant attitude towards the things I tell him. We had a fight, and he blocked me everywhere.
Now, one year plus, he blows up my phone with calls and texts saying that he will d!e if I don’t come back to him. He was about to acquire properties in two states and wanted our names on it, but I didn’t answer him because he is in a relationship already that started February this year. He went ahead to acquire the properties without me. I told him to sort himself out with the lady before we figure out the way forward. He said okay. He has been mute for almost a week. I reached out yesterday, and that was when he told me that he doesn’t think we can end up together as his sister is not cool with it. When I got pissed and told him I was returning his ring, he asked if I can’t fight for what I love. I am confused. I loved this guy with my life. Please, I beg y’all, tell me what to do.
