It all started almost a year ago when I discovered I’m having hearing loss. I didn’t even know a sickness like that existed until it happened to me, and immediately I noticed I wasn’t able to hear very well like before. I went to the hospital and they prescribed some medicines for me. After taking them for a few weeks without any changes, I went to the hospital again and they recommended hearing aids for me, which I agreed to because they told me the hearing aids would make my hearing better and I could stop using them once I felt like my hearing was better. That’s what made me agree to it since it wasn’t supposed to be permanent like the audiologist said.
To me, as long as I could hear very well again, that’s all that mattered, but I think that’s where I was wrong. I should have made findings about the hearing aids and how they work before agreeing to it. Though when I started using them, I felt so much better because whenever I used them, I could hear clearly. But after a few weeks, I noticed I barely hear anything again without using the hearing aids. I went to the hospital again to complain, and that’s when they told me I have to continue using them. I’m tired!
