He expressed interest in me and asked me to be his girlfriend, but I declined initially since I didn’t know him well. However, as we continued to talk, we got to know each other better. When I asked about his past relationship, he mentioned it was complicated and didn’t elaborate further. After about three months of talking, I agreed to date him, and we started dating in March. In April, I visited him, and everything seemed fine. But last week, a woman messaged me, claiming that he’s married and telling me to leave him alone. Interestingly, the day before this message, he called me and said he wanted to discuss something with me. A woman claimed he’s her husband, but he later explained their complicated relationship to me. He said they met last April but parted ways after two months. Despite this, I felt deceived and hurt by his dishonesty. I’ve fallen in love with him, but I’ve distanced myself due to his lies.
I’ve stopped contacting him, but he’s recently reached out to apologize. He mentioned that he knows I was hurt and overwhelmed and that he wants me to be with him. He claims the woman is causing him stress and that their relationship is complicated. He assured me they’ve broken up and the introduction meant nothing. However, the woman seems unwilling to let go. I’m torn because I deeply love him, but I feel he’s being dishonest. I’m unsure how to proceed. Should I give him another chance, or is it time to move on?
