I got married three years ago, and my husband and I have not spent two months together as a couple because he is based abroad. After our wedding, he only came back once and didn’t spend more than a week. He used to send monthly allowances, which were between N170k to N180k, till he reduced it to N114k. Our application has been approved, and the next step is for us to pay, but he’s saying he has a lot going on with him over there and that I should give him some time. I don’t even know what to feel at this moment. I have been nothing but loyal and honest to him. I can’t ask him for anything concerning money; he will complain. Thank God I have my own business and I’m independent on my own, but at this point, I’m confused. I don’t want to waste my life away, and I don’t want to be disappointed. I have complained about the distance getting too much, but he always says there’s no money and he’s working on a lot of things. I’m so confused right now.
