Hi, so I met my crush three months ago. I used to crush on him from before, like a year ago, and when we eventually met again, he knew. I told him I liked him. He acknowledged it and accepted us trying. I asked if he had a girlfriend; he was reluctant about it until I pressured him, and he said yes. But he still accepted trying, and I was already in love. With time, I discovered things weren’t going as planned, and I was honest from the beginning with him. I made sure we conversed, and he was all caring at the beginning, but after a while, he was all about “I love my babe.” I accepted. He came back again and asked for validation but wouldn’t conclude with what I wanted. I was under pressure, not wanting to lose who I loved, so I kept texting and all. With time, he ignored me. But then he messaged me again with another number, promising to make it work, and I told him I can’t date for fun, and he said the same thing. I asked about his girlfriend, and I said he didn’t want to hurt her. He said when we get to the bridge, we will cross it, and even went ahead to pray about the matter.
Again, he switched up. I was devastated. I knew this was something I couldn’t fight, but I had already fallen in love, and he knew. All of a sudden, he came back again, and the second day he blocked me. I begged and begged, I just needed closure or something to heal. Fast forward to this week, he is making it known to me that his babe knew about me the very first day we met and were texting. Like, the whole time he had been coming over to my place, his babe knew, and I was a fool. He and his babe haven’t stopped harassing me online, even after I have begged them to. I know I am at fault for not controlling my emotions, but I felt played. Like, when he knew he loved his babe, why didn’t he just block me the very first day? Anyone could have. And his excuse was that I am the immature kid here, and his babe has been the one replying to all my texts, and I am a free offering to him. But yet, they won’t stop threatening me, and I am really broken beyond repair.
