I met this guy three years ago, and at first, everything was amazing. I thought he was a saint from heaven. Just last December, when our relationship was about two years and a few months, I discovered I was a side chick. He has a girlfriend, and they have been dating for six years. I was so hurt because I knew he had deceived me into being in a relationship with him. The girl reached out to me, I explained my side, and broke up with him. He begged me, and his family asked him to choose between me and the girl, and he chose her, so I minded my business. After a while, he came back begging with his elder brother and some other people, saying he wanted me back and that the girlfriend had ended the relationship. So, long story short, I took him back, but since I accepted him, I’ve not had peace. This guy is a chronic womanizer, or was, I don’t know. He has been putting on a facade that he has changed and wants to be deserving of me, but recently I discovered he was still seeing this girl. I don’t know for sure, but it seems like he wants to work things out with her. Currently, I have lost interest in the relationship, and he is beginning to notice. He has stopped spending on me, not that I need his money because I earn more than his brother. I even heard from the girlfriend that he was with me because he spends less money on me and was dodging responsibilities. He pays the girl’s parents’ house rent and takes care of their responsibilities, but I live in my own building. He has been behaving very toxic, so I also started phasing out (the girls understand). For some months now, he keeps telling everyone that I’m stressing him out and always quarreling with him. He even told my mom that he is coming to marry me next year. Dream on! The question I want to ask and get answers to is: am I the drama? Should I ask him about the whole girlfriend getting back together thing? I honestly haven’t seen proof of them ever talking or trying to get back together; I’m just sensing it because of his behavior recently. Also, should I break up with him first or wait till water passes garri?
