Hi guys, I’m a 25 years old lady who has been dating this guy for 4 years now. We met during the end of our service year and it has been amazing. We recently got an apartment together earlier this year and I contributed half a million naira to the house because then I thought I was helping him. He also hinted marriage and there has been no problem. I’ve not met his parents but he has met mine. Recently he started talking to his ex, I found out and it caused a lot of issues between us which led me to leaving the house. I came back the next day and demanded he cut ties with the girl. He said he can’t, and he went on to say he needed a break. I agreed and then found out he was still talking to his ex. I got angry and broke up, then told him to pay me back the N500k I contributed or else I’m not leaving the house. I also found out recently that the ex came around one time that I wasn’t home. Now I don’t know if I should wait till I collect my money back or I should just leave. I can use the N500k to get a self-con. He’s also not ready to make the relationship work anymore, and to think this ex knows me and knows that we live together. I’m honestly torn and I’ve not been able to think properly.
