I met a lady around my area, we got along so well and exchanged contacts. After a week of talking, I asked her out but I didn’t get a response from her. After a couple of days, she accepted to be my girlfriend and then we started dating. I’m just a 24-year-old guy that God is helping. I have my own nice apartment and I’m good on my own financially. I haven’t been in a relationship for some time but this particular girl caught my attention. Yesterday she explained something to me about her currently living with a guy that brought her to Lagos. The guy told her he would get her a job, but when she got to Lagos, he started asking her out and she had no choice but to accept to date him. They both lived and dated for 3 years when she found out from the neighbors that the guy had married twice and the two different women had children for him. After she heard this, she confronted him and he didn’t deny it, so she told him she wanted to break up. They broke up but are still living together. After she explained all these to me, all the feelings and everything I had for her died instantly because I’ve been through the same thing before. I didn’t say anything, I just kept quiet, because for sure she and the guy are still sleeping together.
She told me she’s already planning to get her own space but doesn’t have enough, which I told her I would support her with money. She wants me to be giving her money all the time. I’ve been giving her back-to-back, but she’s already seeing it as a normal thing—every morning, saying she hasn’t eaten, bla bla bla. She came to spend the night at my place. When it was raining, I told her not to come because firstly it was late around 10pm and if the guy she’s living with (her ex) found out, he might get angry or something. She told me she had already told him where she was going. When she got back home the next day, the guy told her to pack out of his space by the end of this month. Her money to get a new apartment isn’t complete yet. Now the problem is she told me today that she wants to come live with me till she gets her own space. She’s an orphan! I’m scared, a lot is running through my head. The relationship isn’t up to a month. Living with me isn’t a problem but I’m just scared—what if something bad happens to her? I can’t think straight right now. I even told her I want to end the relationship but I’ll still give her the money, but I’m ending the relationship. She started crying and manipulating me with cries. Please y’all should advise me, thanks.
