I have a girl, and I’m confused about her intentions towards me. Recently, I sat her down and shared my feelings with her. To be honest, I’m getting obsessed with her, and I love her deeply. She’s the only one I want, and just seeing her makes me happy. However, we come from different religions, and our parents are influential figures in the community, which is a concern for our future together. During our conversation, she mentioned feeling trapped in our relationship, like she’s limited in what she can do. I thought that’s how relationships were supposed to be—considerate of each other’s feelings. She seemed to brush it off. Another issue is her communication style. She rarely initiates texts, and when I reach out, she often doesn’t respond unless she sees my message. She’s active online, posting and engaging, but doesn’t make an effort to stay in touch. I’ve tried not texting her first, but she still doesn’t initiate conversations. When I ask about it, she says she’s busy or doesn’t have data. Given these signs, I’m wondering if it’s enough to consider a breakup or I’m just overthinking.
