I Need Professional Advice

A friend asked me for advice regarding his job. He got his PPA through someone close who helped him use a big connection to get a job only for him to resume on the job and find out the pay is ridiculously low and can barely cover his transport fare for the month. Thank God for the N77k LG is paying, but he accepted it anyways because he already has them on his portal as his PPA. However, this retention of corpers in this company is very rare because they already have a very large number of staff, and no matter how useful you are during your service year, they hardly retain staff. Now, the person had to pull a lot of strings to get him the job, and just then I sent him a link to a job with a very high pay, and he got the job. The dilemma right now is whether to take the new job and forgo the efforts of the people that helped him get the current job as well as the good relationship he has been able to create with his boss and supervisors in this short time and take the new job.

Also, the company he’s trying to leave is a really big company, and having their name on his CV is a big boost, but should he put relationships above his finances? He’s worried he might regret either of his decisions if he forgoes one for the other because none of the companies promise retention, but one has a reputation of hiring casual staff and barely retaining corpers. And me, I don’t want to go and advise him now, and it doesn’t end well and he starts resenting me for giving him wrong advice. Personally, I think he should take the other job since he hasn’t gone far in his service year, but he said he mentioned it subtly to the person that got him the job, and the person didn’t sound pleased with his decision and even advised him against it because they might also lose their relationship with the person that helped them get him the job.
