So I met this guy in November last year, and almost immediately we clicked. He is such a sweet and charming man. A few weeks after, we started sailing in the ship called relationship because he is totally my kind of man—someone who sweeps me off my feet and gives me butterflies in my tummy. Before we started sailing, I asked him twice if he was married, and he said no, “but he has a daughter and he has a good relationship with her mother” (in his words), and we continued our journey. But my instinct kept telling me there’s more to the story, but I felt it was just because I didn’t want to get hurt, and that’s my mind trying to shield itself. Two months ago, I saw a name trying to call him on Telegram, so I decided to check the name out on Facebook. There, I saw my man with this particular lady, all cozy, with a caption: “Married as at 2021.” I didn’t know what to do, so I decided to check his phone, and behold, this man got married in 2021, and this particular lady is also the one who gave birth to his daughter. Mind you, I asked this guy late April, and he still insisted he is not married. I don’t know what to do—whether to confront him with the evidence of his marriage that I have with me or just play along with whatever he says.
