Hello sweet people. I am a young lady of 25 years but I look 20 and I have been dating my partner for close to 2 years. From the beginning of the relationship, he was so sweet, kind, thoughtful, caring and all. But all of a sudden he changed to someone I don’t know. He is an engineer and I am a civil servant (police). My partner stopped giving me anything because I have a job. Even when I am in dead need of his help, he will start questioning me about my salary and savings, telling me, “How much do you have in your savings?” and all. He doesn’t give me money, neither is he there for me emotionally. He says things that make me feel less of myself instead of bracing me up. And the most annoying part is he is always claiming to be right. He is never wrong. Even when he does things he shouldn’t do, he will never admit that he’s wrong. And he is talking about being with me forever. Lately, I have been thinking about if I really want to spend the rest of my life with him.
I sincerely don’t know what to do because I love him so much and I am not really lucky when it comes to relationships. I don’t just date for fun and when I say I LOVE, I mean it. But I am confused about this my present relationship—if I should continue with him or find my way. Plus the fact that it’s hard to get a good guy out there is so tiring.
