I have been dating this boy since late 2023. We met during my NYSC. Fast forward to when we were done with service, he took me to his place to see his mom and his siblings. They all liked my vibes. Now the mom is saying the son should come and see my people so they know him. But the problem is my ex did the same thing—he came to see my aunt when we were dating, although the parents never liked me because I am Benin. My question is, should I allow my boyfriend to come see my aunt or wait until he’s financially ready to do the right thing (marriage)? Mind you, he’s the same tribe as my ex but from a different state.
