Hello guys, I want you to advise me and fault me if I’m the one that has the problem. So I met this my boyfriend on TikTok and we have been dating for six months now. Though it has been a smooth ride, it got to a stage where he started complaining that I nag or bring issues up over trivial things like not giving updates or not talking freely when he’s on call whenever he’s with me. Though he normally tells me I’m not meant to know everything that’s going on. So fast forward to last week, he had told me that he’s going for a wedding and I didn’t even question further because I trust him. A day before he left, we spoke and I was telling him to leave early because of the distance and he said okay. On Friday, which was the day he was meant to leave, I reached out to him around 2 o’clock. He said he was just at Mile 2. Please, guys note he still went to his house at Mowe, packed his clothes before heading out. Later around 5 in the evening, I still reached out to him again, he said they were already at Ijebu Ode and he’s going to Ondo (Ode Irele).
He reached out by 7 only for him to tell me they’ve gotten there, he was at the hotel he’s going to lodge. At that point, I got confused because it wasn’t adding up. I started questioning him: “Where did you take the bus?” “What time did it fill?” “Was it a direct bus you took?” “This one you’ve done oh, I don’t know how you want to justify yourself or better still, share your location.” That’s how he got angry that I’m insecure, I don’t trust him and he’s scared of me. He said someone like me can get angry and lock his clothes or lock the door if we were together that day. I have a lot of red flags, I get angry over small issues. So guys, I want to know, did I overreact? Because he said he’s breaking up.
