So, I’ve been staying with my brother for almost two years now in his one-room self-con apartment. You know Lagos houses, very tight, and I had to adjust really well to fit in. He was dating at the time but it was LDR, so the girl hardly came around and anytime she does, I always stay at a friend’s for the number of days she’ll spend. The relationship didn’t last because of the distance. So recently yeah, my bro got someone else and everything was going on smoothly. She comes around and leaves after a night or two. I don’t excuse them because I have nowhere to go (my friend moved to her husband’s house). I can’t possibly go there to stay for days anytime she’s around. Meanwhile, before she moved I told her I wanted to keep her space and I’ll continue paying the rent, but I don’t know what happened, she gave it to someone else. So I’m stuck here with my brother. I’ve tried moving out but it’s too expensive, I mean rent, furnishing, etc. I’m not getting enough funds to live alone at the moment. So, the problem now is, this girl (brother’s new babe) came one day and since then she’s not left.
It’s almost six months now and see-finish has started from her end. I’m in a LDR too but I can’t even move to his place to stay for long, I mean we’re not married, so I only visit and come back home. I don’t know why, but her presence is starting to irritate me. I’m not a bad person but there are levels to tolerance and I think I’ve had enough. I don’t know how to tell my bro that she’s overstayed her welcome and needs to leave. I mean, she has a house before deciding to come stay here. I’m not saying their relationship is irritating me, but she’s stayed too long. Make she even go house for like one week. I even tried asking him if she has a fight with her roommate, like if that’s the reason she has decided not to leave, but he said no. After a few minutes, he asked, “Do I think she’s stayed too long?” In my head I was like really? After six months? Someone you’re not married to? It was then I knew that it’s over. Rantz family, please what can I do to make her go to her house even if it’s just for a few days? She’s started some kind of character and it’s so annoying, and her presence is choking me.
