I have been in a relationship with a guy for over a year. I’ve been feeling some certain type of way about him for some weeks, and I decided to go through his chats. Then I bombed into his chat with his cousin advising him to settle down with me, being that I am quite different from other girls he has been with. This guy replied him, saying that I am not his spec and he can’t settle with someone from my state, so therefore I can never be the one for him. This is someone that has never mentioned that he has anything against people from my state or tribe. He has always made me feel very special and comfortable around him. I never suspected that he doesn’t love me. He constantly gives me assurance that he doesn’t want to ever lose me and wants me to be in his life forever. I feel very hurt right now, and I don’t know how to react. The statement keeps coming to my head. I want to move on badly, I’m devastated.
