Let me go straight to the point. I’m in a relationship that will be 3 years old by July. He’s manipulative and cheats a lot. He smokes and can’t make decisions on his own. Since last year, I’ve been talking to him about this particular hair I want—it costs N130k. He’s more than capable of affording it. I barely ask him for things and I make do with whatever he gives me without complaining. This is someone who can spend over N100k on an outfit for himself, but gives me N20k to buy a whole dress, bag, and slides. Literally crumbs. Today again, I reminded him about the hair because I saw it on someone’s status. Guess what? He said I’m being entitled and that I’ve changed because I didn’t use to ask him for things. The thing is, I’m doing okay for myself. I can feed and clothe myself, and my parents are very supportive. If I had taken it seriously, I probably would’ve saved up for the hair a long time ago. Well, I’ve now started saving for it. I plan to surprise him by getting it myself. And mind you, I only have one wig. Now I’m just confused. This is someone who’s also telling me to get pregnant because he doesn’t want to lose me. No be only pregnancy, na belle. Please, I need advice.
